Betty Moore-Hafter, MA, Inner Theater and EFT Practitioner
I have a background in teaching and I loved my 20 years as a French teacher. But all through those years, I was on my own inner journey. I desperately needed to understand myself, face my own blocks and limitations, and end my negative and self-sabotaging patterns. I thought that I had walked away from the painfully low self-esteem of my adolescence and the difficult disconnect of my childhood, where I just never fit in. But I discovered that true healing and lasting change would involve embracing all parts of me.
As it turned out, my healing journey was the preparation for my own practice in the healing arts. This last decade has been a joy as I’ve been able to creatively blend my favorite healing tools, hypnotherapy and EFT, to help others achieve breakthroughs.
My work took a quantum leap this past year when I began collaborating with my friend and fellow EFT Practitioner Jade Barbee. We developed a process of applying EFT within the sacred space of the inner world, the method that we now call Inner Theater. There is no greater gift we give to others, or to ourselves, than that of deep listening and presence. Inner Theater is a way to respect the subconscious and give it an arena to accomplish healing from a very deep place within us. I am honored to be a part of this exciting, cutting-edge work. I wish to thank Jade for the richness of our collaboration which has opened up such promising new horizons for our work. We love being able to teach and share this approach. Welcome to Inner Theater!

It has been a pleasure and a challenge to explore my ongoing emotional health as I continue to help clients and colleagues find greater peace, empowerment and expression with the powerful tools of EFT and Inner Theater. Having been through the proverbial fire many times, first as a young gay person in the rural west and then coming of age in cities like San Francisco and New York, I know first-hand what it is like to experience the devastating effects of chronically low self-esteem on my behavior and my relationships. I also know what it’s like to realize life-changing transformation and cultivate a deepening trust in my body’s natural ability to heal itself.
I love how this work truly helps us get to know ourselves better. With these methods, including the systematic EFT used “under the surface”, we can address and transform self-limiting beliefs along with the powerful negative feelings that can surround and influence our life experience. We can learn to address the energy of a problem or challenge in an empowering way and consistently trust that by setting an intention, and following a visual, imaginative trail – we can allow deep transformation inside and out. So many benefits await us in the Inner Theater – I continue to be blown away by this work and it’s measurable effect on people’s emotional and physical well-being.
